 Attention all Young Adult Movie Lovers!
Ignite Young Adult Ministry would like to start a Dinner and a Movie night once a month on the first Friday of the month, but we need your help. If you are a young adult, single or married, and you have a house or apartment and a TV or projector, then you can be a Dinner and a Movie host!
Ignite will provide the movie, the discussion guide and the dinner. To sign up for just 1 month out of the year, email ignite.yam@gmail.com or call Carla at 734-740-3809 and let us know what movie and what month you would like to host. You can check out the available months and movies by clicking here.
If you don’t want to be a host, but you still want to attend, don’t worry, you will be welcomed. Just keep an eye out for posters and bulletin articles at your church or sign up for email updates at by clicking here.

Notice this is a time WITH the homeless, not for. This is an opportunity to meet and hang out with some people who are very different than us and maybe in some ways, not so different. Let’s go show some love and have a Winter Christmas Party with a part of our family that’s been neglected for far too long. We'll be meeting at Kensington in Troy at 12 to carpool. Kensington is located on the Northwest corner of Square Lake & John R. Some of the groups are also meeting up to carpool from their perspective churches. Or if it's easier to meet us down there, we should be in Detroit around 1:00. We'll be meeting at the corner of 2nd & Selden. As Dorothy Day said, "If you have two coats, one of them belongs to the poor." In case of rain (it's Michigan, it's always possible), don't assume it's cancell
